The Fire Fighters meet weekly at the Fire Station for training.
They do field training as well as book learning
and go to other locations when nessary
for training like Flash Overs.

TRUCKS
Pumper - 1975 International Lodestar. It has a 750 gallon tank and a Water Cannon that shoots a 60 foot stream of water for tall structures. It also has 1,200 feet of various size hose and 2 hose reels.
Water Tender - 1968 Kaiser Jeep with 6 wheel drive. It has a 1,000 gallon Aluminum tank for Brush & Structure fires. This tank can provide potable water to homes through a hydrant.
Brush - 1967 Dodge with 4 wheel drive. It has a 250 Gallon tank with 100 feet of hose and one hose reel.
Brush - 1966 International with 6 wheel drive. It has a Winch and a 1,000 gallon tank & 400 feet of various size hose and 2 hose reels.
EQUIPMENT
SCBA - Is a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. This is similar to a scuba tank used by divers.
TURNOUTS - Are Nomex III coats and pants lined with Aramid Quilt worn by Fighters to help protect them from the heat endured from fighting fires.
RADIOS - Carried by several Fighters at all times for communicating both within the Department and with neighboring departments.
