The SEEDLING changed format from a 'newspaper' to Town data when Apple Valley Incorperated October 2004.
The main intent of the SEEDLING is for the use of Apple Valley Residents. |

MAILING LIST:
Email addresses intrusted to the SEEDLING for the purpose of notifying Residents of up-dates and sending Town Directories, will NOT be given out for any reason. The SEEDLING's mailbox is checked weekly. |

WEATHER:
Rainfall and Temperatures are recorded daily from the back porch of the SEEDLING and not indended to be an offical record. Weather Data is posted monthly as time permits. Hard copies are kept on file. |

Data placed on this page is done with the approval of the Fire Cheif. |

FREE ADS:
Any business or individual that is located or conducting business on a regular basis within Apple Valley my have an AD posted FREE on the SEEDLING. Links may be added as per LINK POLICY. |

ALL links MUST be 'child safe'. Any link found to be 'UNsafe for children will be removed without notice. Links may be added to the FREE ADS, USEFULL LINKS and BUSINESS DIRECTORY pages. PHONE DIRECTORY:
Requested copies will be Emailed to VERIFIED residents & businesses of the Town. RESIDENTS on the mailing list will receive updated copies without a request. The Town Directory is taken from phone books and Up-dated with each new printing. Residents that are not in the published book may be added to the Apple Valley Directory upon request by same. Numbers with a 874 prefix may not be included as this is Hildale's prefix. Errors will be corrected as they are located. Please report errors on YOUR listing to Marie 877-1072.

Publishing History
The SEEDLING was started in September 1996 by Marie McGowan because she felt there was a need for a news letter/paper for the Apple Valley area. Quartly issues were delivered to over 100 subscribers homes for $1.00 per year. In October of 1998 she was called to a part time Church Service Mission at the St George Regional Family History Center and was no longer able to publish and deliver a hard copy of the SEEDLING. Publishing of the last 2 issues were delayed several months. In October of 2000, after learning to use the internet and finding a site that was easy to use in creating a web page, the SEEDLING was back and ON LINE. After Apple Valley incorperated October of 2004 the SEEDLING changed its format from a 'newspaper' to Community data. It is hoped that this web site provides a service to the Town in listing information of intrest to the residents of same. If you have any ideas for this paper please contact the Webmaster.
