Customers using more than .98 acre ft per year
are charged the going rate for usage. There is no penalty at this time for using more than 0.98 acre feet of water in 12 months. During Years of Extreme Drought, Restrictions will be imposed. |
This averages water useage over 3 months
in the summer and is to the advantage of the customer. If you use lots of water one month and much less the other 2 months then the amount of water used for the high use month is averaged lower than acutal use. |

Hardware:
TANKS- Two 24 ft storage tanks each hold up to 220,000 gals are located at the North end of Rome Way. Two 8 inch lines serve the area. A third tank of the same size is planned at the same location. WELLS- Well #1 pumps 195 gals per minute at 90 lbs of pressure at the pump. Well #2 pumps abt 250 gals per minute. There are over 35 hydrants located in the subdivisions Apple Valley Ranch and Gooseberry. The water is tested monthly for contaminants. FUEL- 12,000 gal Storage tank to run a generator during times of power loss. |
